Special Interest Groups (SIGs): A Member-Only Benefit

View Current Schedule of SIG’s

What is a SIG anyway?
Special Interest Groups, or SIGs, are small discussion groups where our Members can come together to focus on specific topics, share ideas and strengthen relationships. There is no speaker, but each group has a host facilitator who provides the venue and guides the discussion.

If you register by the specified day prior, you will get a complimentary box lunch from Groovin' Gourmets; otherwise, you need to bring your lunch.

What’s in it for me?
Members benefit from the small and informal forum in which they can more deeply discuss a topic with their peers to not only get their questions answered but share best practices and tools. Members are able to learn from each other as well as to create deeper relationships with those who share – and who are perhaps challenged by – similar professional interests. Each SIG focuses on a specific marketing discipline, and topics will be selected before every meeting.

How do I register?
Members must sign up in advance for each SIG using the registration link that is provided on our website, emails, or social media accounts.

Members are encouraged to participate in the SIG that interests them the most, although they are more than welcome to participate in multiple SIGs. Each SIG lasts approximately one hour and is free to current AMA-Richmond members unless otherwise noted.
