Dave Ingram – President, Capital TechSearch

Capital TechSearch, Inc, has been in business since 2001 and provides our clients with talented consultants within the areas of Business Intelligence, Data Warehousing, Database Administration, Web Development, Infrastructure Administration and Engineering, Project Management, and Quality Assurance. With our "contract to hire" clients our success rate has been in excess of 86% over the past 3 years with 80 % of our business being repeat business. Capital TechSearch has recently become a member of the prestigious Inc. 5000 Club. David Ingram the President and CEO of Capital TechSearch is getting ready to share his knowledge in a book called, “15 Bedtime Stories to Keep Entrepreneurs Up at Night™.” Based on his years of experience as a business owner, Ingram plans to help other businesses do things right.

Matt Paxton – Owner, Clutter Cleaners

Serial entrepreneur, Matt Paxton has never run from a good idea. Juggling marketing jobs and entrepreneurial ventures for the past 10 years, Matt finally found his fit cleaning up extremely cluttered homes. Matt used his marketing background to sort through lots of good ideas to pick a growing and profitable business. Matt believes that a good idea is just an idea until you can use marketing to create an emotional bond with the customer. Once that true relationship is created with the customer, they become your advertising. No matter what your idea is, Paxton thinks that once you create that emotional bond with your product, you've got a winner.

Your market is people. Mobile people. They are constantly on the go and reaching them seems to be proving more difficult with each passing day. So, if your audience is mobile, why not utilize a marketing and customer engagement tool that is mobile too? Why not communicate with those customers that are interested in your products, services or events and want to interact with your business using a tool that is very familiar to them, personal and much more engaging than other forms of media...their mobile phone?

The general news and marketing publications are reporting with increasing frequency on the use of mobile devices by consumers and you may have wondered what the buzz is all about. Perhaps you’ve asked yourself the following questions...

  • Do consumers really want to receive advertising on their mobile phone?

  • Can I generate qualified leads and get full contact info from potential customers using their mobile phone?

  • Can I send messages to select customers to incite business during slow times or to compete with competitor actions?

  • Is it possible to measure all my marketing efforts...TV, radio, print, live events, etc?

  • What are SMS, MMS, WAP and other mobile technologies that are changing the realms of marketing and commerce just as the internet has done?

These and many other questions concerning mobile marketing and customer communications will be answered by Jim Washok, Founder and Managing Director of OTAir mobile marketing solutions. Jim is considered a visionary in the mobile marketing industry having helped design and implement successful mobile strategies for Hershey Entertainment, Dell Computers, Miller Brewing Company, Funny Bone & Improv Comedy Clubs, Busch Gardens Williamsburg, USAA and many others. Additionally, Jim and the team at OTAir power the mobile platform used by great partners, such as Landmark Communications, University Directories, Aspen Marketing Services, Madison+Main Advertising & New Media, Fullhouse Interactive and Raycom Media. These partners can collectively service the mobile marketing needs of hundreds of thousands of local, regional and national businesses throughout the United States and Canada.

Join Jim in a dialogue about these and many aspects of mobile communications. We will be able to explore specific examples of mobile implementations, what works and what does not, what is legal and what is not, and even address scenarios specific to the companies in attendance. If you ever wondered about the growing surge of mobile customer engagement, then you don’t want to miss this Market Dialogue.

Your opportunity for interactive dialogue with your AMA colleagues.

Thursday, March 27, 2008
Join us for a Market Dialogue breakfast “Compassion Fatigue in Cause Marketing,” presented by Melissa Radin of PowerPact LLC, sponsored by PowerPact LLC and Theme Queen, LLC (breakfast sponsor).

Compassion Fatigue in Cause Marketing
Cause marketing has exploded in the past 15 years. One reason is because marketers have become so good at developing compelling cause marketing programs that closely attach their brands to compelling emotion equity — social issues. But now, with so many corporations engaged in cause marketing, the landscape has become very cluttered. Today, it is more difficult than ever to capture attention from busy, over-communicated-to consumers. These consumers are bombard and desensitized by all of the cause marketing they are surrounded by. This phenomenon is called Compassion Fatigue. PowerPact will discuss this phenomenon and share its perspective about how todays' cause marketing programs can and should be adjusted to work harder and better to engage and attract consumers.

WHEN:
Thursday, March 27, 2008
