Get involved
Collegiate Chapters are always looking for students to take on an
active role on their committees as well. If you are interested in
becoming part of the decision making process for the Chapter let the
Faculty Advisor know when you go to sign-up or ask for a contact name
of one of the Chapter's Vice Presidents. Getting involved at this level doesn't take that
much time and pays off.
If your college does not have a Collegiate Chapter but you are
interested in how to set up a Chapter you can contact either Teresa
Smith, Collegiate Relations Division for the National AMA at
1-800-AMA-1150 ext. 9079 or e-mail her at tsmith@ama.org. On the local
level you can contact the Chapter Vice President of Collegiate
Relations.
Other resources for finding information on Collegiate Chapters is the
National AMA web site
www.marketingpower.com or your college's student activities
center.
